Cherokee Ranch & Castle {Mike & Anna}

We had the pleasure of meeting Anna and her mom at the Rocky Mountain Bridal show last year and within a few days following the show, received an email that they wanted to meet us! After having a chance to meet with them at a local Starbucks, we found out that Anna and Mike were getting married at the amazing Cherokee Ranch & Castle.

As Anna started talking through her vision, Kris and I became more and more excited about photographing not only this amazing venue, but helping to turn her dreams into reality. As she spoke of the amazing views, priceless artifacts and incredible architecture, we couldn't wait for this day to arrive. Having never photographed at this incredible venue, we were so excited to see the endless possibilities.

As weeks drew near, Anna asked if we'd be able to come down before one of our weddings to walk through this gorgeous castle. Making our way up the mountain and through the private drive, we became more and more excited about what we would see. On the last turn the castle is presented to you incredible clouds overhead and a gorgeous tree lining. With views this amazing, we couldn't wait to see what the interior had in store for us!

With each turn, there was another piece of art more amazing than the next and each bedroom was more incredible than the one before it. As we made our way to the top of the castle (look out), you could see for miles and miles. Pikes Peek to Longs Peek to Denver and with no homes in sight. It was truly amazing!

As we arrived for Mike & Anna's day, she dressed the part! Gorgeous braided up-do, stunning Maggie Soterro gown and a beautiful bouquet to compliment her 1920's castle wedding!
